What do you do if your project's success depends heavily on vendors?

I will develop in depth understanding of current project. Will develop a supplier evaluation and selection process keeping project's objective as a driving factor. Will shortlist of pool of suppliers and will have detailed discussion of our project with those shortlisted supplier; what do they have to offer over this, their past record for same alike projects, how they will ensure project success/completion within provided LT. Carryout due diligence of those suppliers and obtain feedback from different stake holders. After above process, I will shortlist best suitable at least two suppliers for final discussion and then project nomination to anyone of them.

Ensure the availability of right resources with Vendor, secondly the man hours commitment from Vendor and clear understanding of scope to sleazy the right vendor

Ensure effective budget expediting for any equipment, materials or deliverables from vendors that are on the critical path. Closely track lead times & delivery dates. Maintain strong communication & stakeholder management, especially with the customer/client who is relying on the vendor output.
