Me ha resultado útil definir los hitos del programa o proyecto, a partir del estudio minucioso del pliego de dise?o que se dispone, así como los requisitos establecidos en el contrato acordado. A continuación hemos realizado una reunión para escuchar la propuesta de determinación de los hitos del proyecto que tienen los expertos involucrados con su ejecución y control para su aprobación. También hemos establecido un mecanismo de supervisión sistemática de cambios que pudieran afectar los hitos definidos para proceder a su ajuste preventivamente.

Las revisiones periódicas están enfocadas en la prevención y no en la corrección. En la herramienta que se implementa buscamos que se realicen notificaciones con anterioridad al cumplimiento de los hitos definidos en el proyecto para minimizar los costos por fallas. También en la pizarra ubicada en el local principal se identifican a inicio de semana los hitos en los cuales debemos centrar nuestra atención.

El concepto adoptado es ser flexible ante la necesidad de aprobar los cambios, pero la estrategia en la que nos centramos es minimizar la realización de estos porque por lo general siempre generan incrementos en las variables costo y tiempo de ejecución.
