Do not try to implement an Agile framework by the book, it is not meant to work outside of the box. Instead get confortable with the try and learn philosophy from agile methodologies. And also try fast, fail fast. Organize your backlog using high level parent items. segment them by hypothesis. in B2B : I would recommend to try them 2 by 2 using MVP of each hypothesis and collect feedback. In B2C : if you have budget, and a large pool of users. Go with extensive A/B to test all most plausible hypothesis and monitor with KPIS. But you should use an MLP version of each hypothesis this time.

It is not a question if in PM role, you will have to handle ambiguity and adaptability. It comes with the parts and parcel of the of the role. You should focus on how to become adept in handling it. Look closely for sources, their patterns and build an overall directional understanding. Communicate with team members, stakeholders, customers to understand such patterns and try to anticipate as much as possible the uncertainty and ambiguity. That will prepare you to minimise them.

Communication is the essence of the job. State clearly that you do not know which way to go for whatever reason. But always come with a plan to determine how you are, all together, going to find the right way. Uncertainty happens all the time. Be the reassuring calm guy who does not freak out.

The truth is, it depends on how long you have worked in that organization. As a newbie, you might not really know if it is right for you to question the ambiguity and it might come off as arrogance. If you are new, you can use that opportunity to learn on the job and while you grow and begin to connect with your line managers, you can begin to shed off and negotiate responsibilities respectfully.
