In a case like this, it all falls down on the presenter. The presenter needs to develop or posses the ability to break down and explain complex concept in a way that it becomes very understandable to a layman. Also, the presenter must be able to make up for the lack of visual aids with engaging the listeners. As long as you can get them involved in the presentation, everything will be good.
