Studying the audience to understand what will keep them hooked, what they need, generate follow-up questions and kick off long term conversation. 2. Collate important points and prioritise. 3. Weave a story together of varying lengths (30 secs, 120 secs, 300 secs) and use as per situation. 4. Handle cross questions tactically to save time, note them down and provide details after the call to keep conversation ongoing. 5. Add a remebral to leave a long lasting impression

When you have limited time, you must prioritise content in order to take care of presentation. After giving the subject priority, you should use very simple language to convey the meaning. The delivery of your content is currently the main issue, therefore be direct and use brief examples. After you have completed these three tasks, time will no longer be an obstacle.

In science at least, the less text, the better. Good data vis contains a thousand words - one sentence to summarise the key takeaway from a chart or diagram should be enough. And don't be afraid to have a higher amount of simplified slides and work through them at a faster pace - this smooths out the amount of info the audience has to process over time during your talk.

Comencé hace mucho tiempo, preparando presentaciones en el colegio usando una grabadora de casete. Revisar esas grabaciones ayuda a pulir defectos y detectar fallos en la exposición y por supuesto a ajustar los tiempos. I've found it useful to frame your presentation, explain there is a lot to get through and that you will follow up with questions at the end when you have covered main points. If interrupted during the delivery, a polite acknowledgement of the valid point made with a reminder of the limited time and a promise to come back to this at the end or follow up separately afterwards will help you to maintain control and keep things on track.

When I’m faced with such a situation, I always keep the audience’s most crucial needs at the heart of the presentation, focusing on a few major issues. I sometimes ditch the slides if I find they might hold me back, especially if I can make the presentation more interactive with a lot of application and practice. The important thing to keep in mind is that the audience cannot absorb a lot in a short time, thus focus and brevity are essential. Think of what is the one thing you want them to know to be able to take action and how you want them to feel to set the time of your presentation.
