What do you do if your non-profit colleagues are not aligning with your organizational mission?

Conduct a re-orientation with the team to remind everyone of what the organization stands for and the importance of such alignment. 3. Review your organization's system and processes to stay in line with your mission and vision. 4. Aside from revisiting the mission of the organization as a whole, the individuals need to have their moments of self-reflection as well. Your values as a person also influence your work.

We often assume a mission is easy to understand, but when we work with intangible indicators of "success", it might be necessary to review often if the mission makes sense to all. Don't take for granted that possibility. Reminders and agreements of what the mission looks like every year or so can help foster consistent alignment.

Firstly, define your organization goals (where do you want to reach and how). Next, get some discipline into the place....metrics...who does what, timelines, and results. Thirdly...let people be comfortable on their work schedule...but be clear what they need to deliver and how you would measure them. Last but not the least: Make sure you make it clear what you expect of them and what is the timeline. Be flexible how you measure but there needs to be some consistency...and be absolutely clear that you don't encourage insubordination.

Encourage Collaboration: Promote teamwork to foster a shared commitment to the mission. Address Conflicts: If misalignment continues, address it directly, offering constructive feedback and possible solutions. Monitor and Adjust: Keep track of progress and make need based adjustments.

Who are these colleagues? Staff? Senior Management? Board? Other nonprofit leaders? Funders? This question is so poorly written it is impossible to answer.
