I will use tool PDCA (Plan Develop check Act). Planning part will require collection of current energy consumption and costs. I will collect data for available renewable energy resource that are suitable for my industry and local environment. I will also evaluate if it is possible to transition into a hybrid solution. Will use project management stages to start and finish the project.

Understand the current energy consumption of your manufacturing operations. This includes analyzing peak usage times, energy use intensity, and specific proceses that consume the most energy. Conduct a comprehensive energy audit to identify areas where energy efficiency can be improved. This might reveal opportunities to reduce energy consumption before switching to renewable sources, making the transition more cost-effective. Use of renewable energy sources is always a welcome step not only in manufacturing but in any application. Before shifting a proper study has to be conducted as to 1. The type of renewable source of energy to consider. 2. Reliability of that source to provide uninterrupted power supply in that location. For example, if one considers to use windmills or any other source then the geography of that place should support the system. Similarly solar energy could be an excellent source in some geographies, while it may not be so efficient in some other place. 3. A proper analysis of cost and ROI needs to be conducted. The stakeholders need to be convinced. 4. Long term reliability of the manufacturer to supply after sales support and spares.
