Make a check list of each outcome to minimize mistakes to a minimum if there is a problem then ask and you will receive if they dont want to tell you about your mistakes try rearange your resume in a way that feels right to you if you get layed off once again the right job will come to you in the meantime try and try again

In my experience most people change after years but they forget to update theirs resume. Look back and see what you have learned and what has been add to your experience and then add it to your resume and make it update.
