you have to been completely honest with yourself and with the internship you're working in. Ask yourself, is it overwhelming because of workload or poor time management skills. I did have to think about what my workload was and figured out if it was something that I can live with for the stent of the internship.

It was always important for me to also understand who was your main person in charge at a company. While many team members will come to you for work, activating your lead manager as a sort of filter for the most important tasks and being upfront with your capacity - not just personally but for what is in your contract - is so important. As much as you want to prove your worth and do as much as you can in your internship, learning to set boundaries early will be the biggest lesson you learn as you move forward in your career.
