This can happen especially in times of a recession where hiring is frozen. Here's what you can do to ensure you bag that desired PR job. - Work with a PR Consultant: They have exciting clients and can always use an extra hand and head:). And I can bet it will be an enriched learning experience. - Intern at two other PR companies- Infact I would suggest intern atleast 3 PR agencies and then decide where you want to work. This will help you understand the work ethics and also decide what kind of niche industry you want to pursue . - Work within a Corporate Communication team in a MNC. Here again they are open to internships if you are willing to learn. - Don't hesitate if it is a non-paid internship. Experience matters
