In my view, if the team is lacking the culture of innovation, its the Team Manager who is solely responsible for building and maintaining the learning and innovation culture. The ownership squarely lies with him as he is unable to set, motivate and implement the learning goals / KRAs and incentivise his team to pursue it. He should himself as an example by learning continuously and should “ walk the talk” such that his team takes him seriously and focus on learning aside their other KRAs/ goals. In addition to the above , the organisation also should have learning culture and in today’s digital world, they should “ invest “ in learning platforms to facilitate “ learning anywhere, anytime ..”
