It is imperative to have some uninterrupted time each day. In an open office environment, it is particularly important. At one location, we had flags attached to our computers that we could raise, so others would know not to interrupt at that time; alternatively, an email could be sent to address the issue or a request for a time later that day to meet. It seems simple, but it was effective.

Trabajar en el proceso de inovacion y desarrollo es un reto para cada persona, dondes segun el objetivo tendremos interrupciones de diferentes areas, una manera de identificar estas interrupciones que quitan ritmo de trabajo, es midiendo los tiempos y eventos de estas interrupciones, por que existiran algunas que se deben atender, pero otras que se pueden delegar o incluso rechazar; con estas medicion de tiempo de interrupucion priorizamos nuestro flujo de trabajo e identificamos los mejores horarios para hacer ciertas actividades de nuestra investigacion y desarrollo.

Also consider scheduling shorter meetings. Can a 1 hour meeting be reduced to 30 minutes and still cover all topics? Could a 30 minute meeting be shorted to 15 minutes if everyone knows the agenda in advance?

I usually invite my manager as an "optional" attendee in Teams invite area and put a note in the meeting body that this is a "place holder" for me to dedicate sometime to this activity. Ideally objective tools should be considered such as cost benefit analysis and customer lifetime value. Rank ideas by complexity and impact such that high impact and lower complexity projects are elevated. Lastly, look for recurring themes where projects can be put on a parallel path. It’s okay to fail but fail quickly learn and adapt!

Acorde a mi experiencia siempre se deben tener herramientas de programacion de actividades y seguimiento, lo cual nos alinea con tener un flujo de trabajo sano y no tener un proyecto sin un final definido. Recomiendo hacer seguimiento corto diario con el equipo de trabajo y un seguimiento en mas detalle por lo menos una vez a la semana para que todos estemos en la misma pagina. usar MSProject, Scrum o PMI son tecnicas que se pueden aplicar en esta etapa para evitar perder tiempo y recursos.
