If you need to integrate your existing system with new technology, first we must do the research on what problems this new technology solves and how it fits in our business use-case. What impact will it have if we integrate it into our existing systems. Then before jumping directly into integration, we must perform a POC, we must install the new technology in our POC or Dev environment and evaluate its features and create Technical Architecture Document, create feature evaluation sheet and demo the poc setup and take inputs from various persona’s who will use this new technology, we must also do competitive analysis and build business justification document. It is also necessary to include all stakeholders from the start.
