In my experience it is good to fail. By failing you can have an open mind to what else is possible. Do not doubt yourself but try to think of the steps you took and what made you fail. Take your time, take a deep breath and focus on all the things you can change for a next time. And even try to look at the situation from different angles. Why did this happen, what happened, if I were the boss, would I agree and etc. By looking at the situation from different angles you can give yourself a chance to change the outcome the next time and take yourself to a level better. Understanding your flaws and making them into chances is the key for survival and a better understanding of your skillset.
