1. Understand where rhe issue arised and identify the cause behind it. Once clear with that, you can analyze how to stop it going forward and the plan to fix it. 2. Stop the migration for the time being and analyze the data at hand and close the loop hole working with the team to take care of it. 3. Clean up the data and update it. Once done you can always document it for the team to take it forward. 4. Align new tools and team for the maker checker basis to identify issues when arise at a stipulated time to cut losses.
