Focus on delivering value and simplicity. Apply the Eisenhower matrix to prioritize tasks by urgency and importance. Do what's needed now, schedule tasks appropriately, delegate where possible, and disregard unimportant and non-urgent tasks. Remember, unresolved issues are already solved.

There's a multitude of strategies and tools (non-tech) to help you organize and prioritise workloads, stories, tasks, whatever is piling up. Keep track of a well managed backlog by assessing gravity, urgency and tendency (GUT matrix) aspects of it and you might do well. Managing these things is an everyday task.

Don't be a mainframe, but rather a distributed processing system! Delegating a task is paramount to delivering value efficiently. The most effective way to do this is to align the need with delivery expectations to a capable person on your team. Regardless of seniority, when we align these two points, we achieve better understanding efficiency. Having common sense is important, as someone's seniority is not measured by their position but by their mastery of the task's subject. Align the need and delivery expectations, and consider the individual's expertise to whom you are delegating. Finally, trust but don't completely relax; periodically review if the need was understood and if delivery value expectations are on track to be met.

More important than delegate is to choose the right person for the task. Don't delegate for the sake of getting rid of some burden in your agenda. Do it responsibly after careful evaluation of the person you will delegate to. Also explain very well what the expected outcome is and how you'd like it to be done. Teach them before trusting tasks and decisions. That will give them the chance to make mistakes, correct them and learn from it. Have you repeated the process at least three times?
