According to me, when you face failure in your creative work, try to take a step back and reflect. Seek constructive feedback from mentors, peers, etc to help you identify areas for improvement. Use these insights to learn from your mistakes and grow as a creative. It won’t happen in one day, so take time to really reflect. I always try to remind myself that both wins and losses are part of my unique journey, even if it doesn't feel great at the moment. By embracing these experiences, you'll come to realize the valuable lessons they've taught you. Success isn’t a linear journey after all.

El hecho de planetear que tus esfuerzos creativos fracasen es lo que hace que fracasen, la mente creativa para que funcione debe pensar que existe una solución aunque no sepa cuál. Puede que te sientas frustrado, porque no se te ocurran ideas o de las ideas que se te ocurren ninguna funcione para ese problema en concreto. Pero cuando esto ocurre, en cada iteración aunque no tenga efecto inmediato, te da un feedback que has de aprovechar para aprender a mejorar las soluciones hasta encontrar una que funcione. Para ello: apoyaté en otros conocimientos, otras disciplinas, otros profesionales y tu equipo. Pero el primer paso es ser fiel al mantra: “Pase lo que pase la solución está ahí y la encontraré.”

Failure is failure no matter where you meet it, but failure is not possible if first you try and that is all that really matters. Trying is a lost Art that is often overlooked. It pries the lid off possibilities and pays the price of admission to the only truth you can ever really own. Any creative endeavor is lined with uncertainties, which are often mistaken as failures and you cannot afford the energy to be a victim to your own regrets. Failure demands a specific response capable of seeing beyond it and it will often permit you greater insights than success can provide. It is your job to understand why you fear failure especially when it is trying to teach you resilience. Failure is our own fault if we do not replace it with wisdom.

In my experience, I find that knowing why you do something is the catalyst to keep going. Dig deep and know your WHY. What is your deepest desire? What do you wish to accomplish? What brought you on this journey? Is it still important to you? How will it make you feel if you accomplish your goal? The answers will motivate you to keep going and make you more resilient. There is no such thing as failure, just an opportunity to learn and grow.
