If your plan is not working it clearly Indicates that the project sponsor has not done his job diligently. You need to go back on the drawing board and review the deliverables which should be aligned with the objectives of the project. Generally during the project execution a very critical process of requirement traceability matrix is over seen this resulting in inefficient project deliverables.
