A better term is probably "feed-forward" rather than feedback! And though it may often be ignored, this is a step on the critical path to regain confidence and restore conviction in your customers and stakeholders. Seek, solicit feed-forward from diverse communities and critics. Be a keen listener, appreciate the points highlighted, understand the gaps and accept the "perception" if any. These are the foods for thought for better alignment of the strategy, affirming the next plan of action and improvement of the execution. Whilst the feed-forward should be assessed objectively there is a merit in evaluation of the subjective and perceptive aspects as well and all this holistically should drive the subsequent action plan.

This can be one of the hardest parts, and is an obstacle for many of my clients. We might not want to 'toot our own horns' or seem arrogant. There are more ways to celebrate achievements than bragging in a board meeting, however. More introverted options include: - Tell a mentor or friend in another team (someone who understands enough, but isn't in your sphere of influence). - Have a 'smile file' in your email inbox to store positive feedback & comments. Revisit during a confidence dip. - Have a work journal or spreadsheet where you list your achievements privately. It's nice to see the numbers tick up and it's very useful for promotion/performance reviews. - Treat your whole team for good performance (little & thoughtful > big gestures).

Realign your objectives - If your goals or objectives have shifted since you initially developed your strategy, it may be necessary to realign them with your current priorities and business needs. Make sure your digital strategy is aligned with your overall business goals and objectives. Say Agile: Embrace a mindset of continuous improvement and agility. Digital transformation work required nimble and lean strategy to align with changing priorities of the customer as well as the organization.
