Certaines entreprises sont plus matures que d'autres sur ces sujets. Les employés ont un r?le à jouer dans la sensibilisation de leurs équipes et du leadership pour leur faire part de leurs considérations environnementales et de la responsabilité de l'entreprise. Dès lors que plusieurs employés d'une entreprise demandent la mise en place d'une politique de transports moins carbonée, le leadership peut plus facilement s'emparer du sujet et faire bouger les lignes.

A través del tiempo me he dado cuenta que las decisiones en torno al transporte sostenible no son integrales, por ello es indispensable considerar -antes de tomar una decisión- cuál es el impacto real del transporte en la organización tomando en cuenta el transporte del personal, el de los proveedores y la logística que implica entregar los productos o servicios que ofrece dicha organización. Una vez teniendo estimado todo ello, se pueden establecer líneas de acción para hacer más sostenible el transporte, por ejemplo: tener compras y entregas consolidadas, adquirir vehículos híbridos o eléctricos, reducir el peso, estimular el uso de bicicletas para el personal y fomentar proveeduría local, entre otras cosas útiles para reducir el impacto
