Before offering feedback, it's important to acknowledge your colleague's potential stress and workload. Start by recognising their hard work and dedication, even when suggesting improvements. Ask open-ended questions to gain insight into any challenges they faced or their decision-making process. And please be ready to suggests solutions and not only point out issues. In the fight against cyber threats, we're all on the same team... but they take the first hits. Feedback delivered with understanding and support has a far greater chance of being genuinely heard and implemented.
