Experiencing setbacks is part of the journey of a recruiter since we deal with uncertainties all the time and is a REALITY. Rather than dwelling on the past, think about the journey and experience you gained from the unfavourable situation, and try to turn a negative to a positive. Ask yourself: 1) What have you learned in the process? 2) What could you have done differently to improve the situation if it were to happen again? If you have the answers to the above, then consider this setback as a win in adding ammunition to polishing your recruitment expereince/tools for the future. Not to sound too cliche, but success comes from adversity and facing adversity will only make you stronger.
