Always add Buffer time to your schedule! Whenever I know I have tasks I always allow myself at least 50% buffer time of the expected duration. This way I can make sure I have enough time when things come up or go wrong. I also try to make sure to have regular blocks of time dedicated to work. By having buffer time in mind you can easily adjust as needed.
