I have always been on a mission mode to respond to their needs& priorities to quickly do the assigned jobs before being loaded with the new ones. It is essential to understand the need of change and based on the outcome, have a open and honest discussion with boss and leadership. If the new priorities are good for org and you can deliver proceed without hesitation. If the priorities are boss specific then its fine for a chat with your boss

I would start by saying be agile, priorities could shift as business needs change. Prepare yourself & plan ahead by considering different scenarios if current work gets deprioritized and needs to be discarded and/or put a hold until next time. While being agile is great, I would also understand the reason of changing priorities, what is missing in the process resulting in such situations. I would challenge leadership with such questions and feedback on how team is affected due to this. While sharing feedback is one way to slowdown changing needs, try to identify gaps and propose solutions to address the gaps in processes which could alleviate such situations.
