What do you do if your boss hinders your career growth?

When your boss does not know his job he shall always find you a big threat and hinder your growth. Have a closed door chat to find out the reason, make notes, take feedback in a positive manner. Request him to show you the path towards success as a leader would do. The best is to have a plan B ready. I would rather say having a boss as a hindrance for one's growth is an opportunity for that individual to perform the best so that he/she gives minimum opportunity to his boss to complaint.
