What do you do if your boss in the enterprise software sector is making your work life unbearable?

In my experience ERP projects are demanding as a rule. In assessing your situation, you must ask if it is a necessary evil for the moment or a long-term issue where stress is not required. An implementation, upgrade, or add-on project will always demand a short-term commitment of extra work effort. The long-term benefit in skills gained and accolades associated with a successful project are often worth the effort. The extra work and stress may result in a promotion or bonus. If your boss is just driving you because you are short staffed then maybe you should ask for help, extra compensation in a higher salary, more paid time-off, remote work options, car, or cell phone allowance, etc. If poor leadership is the cause, consider a new job.

Honest dialogue with your boss on how work is affecting you is important. Often people in leadership are unintentionally making your life miserable because they are ultimately accountable for timeliness and quality of the work that needs to be done. This could lead to them pushing you harder than is necessary. Discussing this with them may result in them realizing they have made a mistake and give them a chance to correct the issue. Also, think about bringing suggested solutions long when you open the conversation so that it is not seen as simply complaining. Lastly, be prepared in case your boss is just a bad leader and will not take your feedback well.

Depends on various this if the intention is deliberate or self generated then nothing will work but if something else has created then open dialogue and support will resolve every thing

Unfortunately, we are all going to encounter a work situation where our boss is going to be unreasonable or just a poor leader. If you are in that situation and unable to work it out with them, take it to a higher authority for resolution, or leave you for an alternate job then focusing on building your personal resilience might be the best you can do. Stoicism is an ancient Greek philosophy of endurance of pain or hardship without the display of feelings and without complaint. This philosophy focuses on reframing the mind to not react to what we cannot control. This is not ideal but may get you through until you can change your situation.

If the issue is caused by misunderstanding, l agree the above seven items suggestion will be very helpful, but it is not caused by misunderstanding that may not be helpful ???
