For SEO content is a king unless you reach it to your targeted audience. There are 3 types of audience . Audience in top of the funnel, audience in mid funnel and Audience in lower funnel.you content should Target these 3 audience.

Had an perspective, you are doing right this. Don't hesitate to go for new ideas. There is nothing right or wrong according to SEO. If it goes well follow well, it's not change it. One thing you have to focus on is do I provide quality stuff or not ? If yes go for it
