It's nice to have a goal in mind, but do not restrict yourself too much. Focus on learning the absolute fundamentals that are shared between all programming disciplines: how to create processes that deal with and transform information. A good book for this would be "Automate the boring stuff with python". If you only stick with what you want to do in the end you will be a mediocre and replaceable programmer. Hone your fundamentals and you'll be able to do your best.

The market for programmers is sort of terrible right now, so keep in mind that information from people who got their jobs in the COVID boom or similar will not apply to you. Personally I think if you have work to show in the form of open source projects you have contributed to, it will be your greatest asset.
