In my experience and opinion to be considered a top contender for a promotion it is important to consistently demonstrate your leadership potential and capabilities. To be considered for a leadership role you need to demonstrate leadership qualities to your employer. like showing accountability, taking ownership of your work, and holding yourself and your team responsible for their tasks also leading by example can show your dediation and commitment by working hard alongside your team. also you need to develop a clear vision for your team or organization. and to communicate this vision effectively, aligning it with the goals and values of the company.

I can't agree more. Leading by model ?? is vital. Leader should show commitment and Descipline. He has to follow high ethical and moral standards ,he shouldn't compromise on it.
