While the first step is the motive we set to pursue internship in either operating E&P companies or Service providers. Each have their own benefits to train you as a generalist or a specialist. Once this is set, which should be inline with previous projects or internship experiences, or personal interest, we can go ahead by targeting the talent acquisition and management teams. This is a tough task but can be done with proper efforts and a constructive approach. We need to prepare customised requests that only should have type of internship(online/offline) and number of days required as the changing variables. Nevertheless, positive attitude while taking a conversation forward either through mails or LinkedIn is necessary to obtain one!
