Perform gauge RnR, to equalise the knowledge level of all operators and inspectors in terms of quality. There is no point outside of cognitive dissonance to employ a "per shipment" metric, if your shipments vary dramatically for example; This will just give you favourable looking metrics. You need to be ready 24/7/365. It takes time to set up a WM system but once it’s in play you can learn! Audits become something to learn from an outside source that doesn’t come into you building in a regular basis.

Most definitely internal audit are critical including LPA on the weekly basis with supervision level And external processes audit once or twice yearly
