I think its simple if you have a mastery of any standard language like c/c++ or C# . Remaining thing is just to do a comparative study of new language with those language like where syntax & features varies, overrides etc. in term of implementation & applications. Thats all. Good Luck!!

For the mobile app, one may decide to go with Kotlin, as it has strong interoperability features. For an app geared more toward secure business needs, look into C#, as its managed and unmanaged coding features, as well as secure frontend and backend implementations provided by the CLR (secure coding area) provide an all-in-one, easy to learn package. For social media platform on desktop, maybe React/Express or Python/Flask with Postgresql backend may work best, as they provide a modular approach and are great for future scalability.

As per my experience and learning framework i have built over time, I have always jumped for basic implementations for a head start. I always try to relate the logic as much as possible with languages that I know in such a way that it helps me feel comfortable with the language. Below are the few learning from my experience: 1) Always try for basic implementations. 2) In case of exceptions or program crashes, reading trackback carefully.(It points out the exact line which caused issue) 3) To increase complexity, try to implement already written stuff. 4) Don’t feel any hesitation before googling small things. 5) Always refer the original documentation instead of videos(I feel videos slows down learning).

Write as much code as possible. You can never master any programming language until and unless you write tens of thousands of lines of code. Convert your imaginations into code and hone your problem-solving skills.
