What do you do if you want to learn new programming languages online?

Before you choose which programming language to learn, evaluate the use case that solves your objective efficiently. For example, for embedded technologies, Python is the best choice. For front-end development, maybe JavaScript. For backend, Java or GoLang. Do your research around your use case and interests. Take feedback from seniors in the field, analyze market trends. Make sure the first programming language you learn has access to quality resources, tutorials, or live mentor sessions. I have often seen students get confused and lose interest gradually. id first go to my neighborhood bookstore to see what book or periodicals I could use for support. This way I would know what variations of syntax is being used with this new language compared to others I already knew. Next I would download the compiler and hopefully a good SDK. Youtube is your friend also as a companion to learning a new language. Finally, As you learn the language make sure to incorporate your software engineering techniques.

First decide why you want to learn programming for which purpose and then have knowledge of it ins and outs , suppose you want to build Web App , so you must know for that we have learn HTML, CSS, JavaScript ,etc. Then, go to relevant website according to the language you want to learn, for our example we will go to w3schools.com because it is good to learn web development there. That's it then practice, practice and practice. Once you go more deeper into this you will keep on getting more idea about coding and other required stuff. To be able to choose the right programming language for You, identify the type of problem you are trying to solve and the language suitable for that problem. if you are an absolute beginner in programing, then i suggest you join an interactive coding platform like code academy that will help you understand basic concept in computer science before jumping straight into the programing language

Since there are too many free online courses, it is very easy to switch between different course providers. It's always best to search, analyse and finalise the course you pursue. After that, do not look back or rethink on your decision. Finish, the entire course with conviction before you wander away with other irrelevant tutorials.

The good thing about using an interactive learning platform is that often you also can view code written by other developers and this will quickly make you understand different ways to solve the same problem.

It is most important part in learnig computer programming languages. For every new for me programming language I'm finding close to real world use case, easy to middle complexity. And starting implementation. Going through 2-3 iterations, startng from simple features, covering fundamental knowledge, adding development patterns with periodical refactoring, next adding test coverage and applying complex solutions and trying metaprogramming, macro programming, etc.., adding complex best practices. I've learned most of programming techs this way.

Practice is the key to learning any programming language. You can start working on a side project which you have a great interest in. That can keep you motivated to practise more and more. Eventually, you not only acquire the programming skills from that project but also make that project valuable to many other people.

Check if the source code is available, GitHub is a good place to look. Pick a project and start writing the code on your own. If you get stuck or encounter an error, you can always refer back to the source code of the projects you found on the internet.
