How to highlight Agile methodologies during a career transition? Resume: Mention the number of years you've used agile and mention the certificate if you have. Interview: Talk about how your sprint looks like, retrospection and demos that happened at the end of every sprint and finally how did it help you make a meaningful product. A very popular opinion is to showcase your certificate. Definitely showcase it if you've earned it but I believe certificates are good only if you are relatively new to the skill and you don't have much experience in practicing it. I've been practicing agile for 10 years and with 5 different organisations. I've seen the frustration as well as the meaning it brings along because of its iterative nature.

Linkedin is an extremely powerful tool. One should not forget to make the most out of it. Keeping and maintaining our Linkedin profile can do wonders for us. We can engage and interact with people from all over the world, exchange thoughts and ideas. One must make sure to add all their skillsets and Agile knowledge in the profile.

I do not agree 100% with this topic. What I have seen in Agile workers is collection of certification and almost zero practice. A lot of Agile people are responding questions by the book and can not articulate how to generate value in a real and critical situation. Study and conquer certification is good, but more important is how people will react to real life, how will be the behavior and action. Focus on real value practice.

Actually I don't fully agree with this. Getting an agile certification is easier as compared to practicing agile methodologies. Understanding the purpose of agile and instilling that behaviour in you is more important than getting a certification.

Total bullshit. Especially agile certification shows nothing but that I am able to participate in a workshop and was able to reproduce content I heard there. Knowing how one should drive a car, doesn't make me a good driver. Daily driving and so practice does.
