As a software developer who doesn't really have as much experience, your very first focus should be to pass interviews. I will advise you practise data structures and algorithms. Usually, many people shy away from this but this might be the only way a company can test you since you don't have any commercial experience. Also, try to understand a lot of concepts about programming, mostly OOP, just in case you're asked during an interview. Try to work on a few real world scenarios or at least contribute to a few projects even if they're personal.
