What do you do if you want to gain a competitive edge in Agribusiness with a specialized certification?

Antes de pensar em qualquer certificado é preciso ter em mente (de forma clara) o objetivo da obeten??o deste. Como já citado na obra "Alice no país das maravilhas", "quando n?o se sabe para onde se quer ir qualquer caminho serve", da mesma forma, quando n?o se sabe o porquê de escolher uma certifica??o, qualquer curso serve. A ideia central é que obter uma certifica??o sem conhecer as demandas de mercado, as necessidades próprias e profissionais, é o mesmo que caminhar sem rumo, na sorte de esbarrar em alguma oportunidade. Esteja atento as tendências (se possível as futuras), pois o aprimoramento próprio e empresarial se baseia na oferta de uma solu??o que vá, de fato, solucionar um problema existente e, assim, obter a diferencia??o.

Simple, unless you're a person or an organisation registered to assess and certify agribusinesses, you'll have to engage the services of such a person or organisation from without your agribusiness. This organization or person will take your agribusiness through all necessary prerequisites to earn a certification. The business will be pre-assesed, and be assessed again by the certification body to finally earn you a certificate.

First of all is make sure what certification will be the most use to your company in function of your clients′ needs and requirements. After that make sure that those certifications actually add value to your company and brand. Once these steps are done have an initial interview with certification consultants to understand what the certification process involves. The idea is to ensure that you have the right certification as an objective, then find out how it should be done and after that have a period of experimentation and soft implementation where you find out if the values underlying the specific certification is compatible with your company and your company′s values. If there is coherence between these factors you will be ready to go!

Specialised certification in agribusiness generally requires external auditing by an internationally certified company. In order for your company to qualify and meet all the regulatory requirements, it is recommended that you hire a consultancy that will help you fulfil these requirements and ensure that you obtain certification.

As for many things: start small and agile. Look for an online course (on LinkedIn or other knowledge/training platforms) in the area of interest and see what works for you. Certifications can also be obtained through formal multi-year university curriculums, but it's not always the right thing dependent on life situation, personal preferences and need.

Best is always if you can combine your certification course with practical application. For some this can be as part of their regular job, some support sister teams in their organization beyond their formal responsibilities, some go for an internship get that exposure, others again volunteer in an NGO in the field. Be creative, talk to people, share your interest, be proactive!

With lot of pollution and pesticide / fertiliser usage , the food material We are ingesting does tend to have residues which are harmful .. Hence if I’m in Agribusiness, I would advise one to have a good training in Organic Agriculture and get certified.. By reducing usage of chemicals in pesticides and fertilisers, and going for Natural deterrents like bio pesticides and going Companion planting and growing insect repelling plants , we can improve on the quality of food crops grown .. This will our USP and definitely by doing appropriate marketing strategies around Organic nature of our products, we can make a good turn around and improve our sales ..
