Dependiendo de tu personalidad puedes buscar una persona altamente capacitada para que no requiera capacitación de tu parte, lo cual tendrá un coste más elevado y por supuesto hará las cosas a su manera, o puedes optar por capacitar a una persona con las habilidades de aprendizaje que tu requieres y con la actitud correcta, y formarlo de acuerdo a tu forma de trabajar. En cualquiera de los casos se requerirá de esfuerzo inicial pero con el tiempo se verán los resultados.

Si delegaste deja que haga el trabajo. Cuando veas que se requiere tu apoyo podrias optar por hacer preguntas claves que lleven a la persona a llegar por si mismos a la respuesta, formando así su capacidad de análisis en lugar de resolverles el problema inmediatamente. Claro, esto requerirá mayor tiempo que si tu lo resolvieras directamente pero a largo plazo será mejor porque aprenderán a analizar y tomar decisiones.

Recuerda que puedes delegar el trabajo más no la responsabilidad. La mayoría de los errores que se cometen al delegar están en la falta de supervisión. No des por sentado que las personas entendieron al 100% las labores que les asignaste. Debes supervisar con tiempo el trabajo y solicitar las respectivas correcciones antes de que el tiempo de entrega de las labores ya esté encima y tengas que rehacer el trabajo tu mismo por no haber supervisado en el momento adecuado.
