There are a plethora of ways: -Connect with your own friends working in Industry -Contact with industry for consultation (Help them with your facility) -By doing research on the current challenges in Industry

It is important to explain, if you are going to make a public speech, that you are going to say your well-based opinion, and not what some people want to listen. It is the main problem today!

Reach out via email or social media, clearly outlining the purpose of your request and the benefits for the speaker. 3. One must encourage students to engage with the industry people on a regular basis. My college & teachers did encourage me to do so which enabled me to interact with experts & guest speakers. These connections are still very fresh and always guide you in the right path. It will transform students personalities and knowledge.

Just ask. I don't think I was ever turned down when inviting people into my classroom as speakers. In fact, I used to use it as an entrance into conversations at business leader gatherings. Think about it. People are flattered when you recognize the good work they are doing and would they be willing to share some of those stories with the next generation. It can be via Zoom, in person in the classroom, or you can take your students to their business on a field trip. These leaders even look at this as a way to give back; they know the motivation is genuine; and they know students will ask real/tough questions. In fact, I some business leaders say they were more nervous about speaking to my students than they were at a business meeting.
