Leveraging educational technology for interdisciplinary collaboration is easier to do, from a pure logistics stand-point, when you have all your content and learning tools integrated with a learning management system. This allows teachers to easily pull in specific resources from multiple systems to create assignments or assignment options and for students to have one place to easily access all the tools that were made available for that paricular learning objective. Too often the technology becomes too cumbersome or complicated to pull together into a single experience and so cross-collaboration options are limited.
