Why have so many different transport companies delivering to the same zip code on the same day and time as others. We should look at the Olympic Games in Paris, or any of the last 10-15 years where consolidation was mandatory and there was a consolidation centre built to allow all transporters to ship to, consolidate and deliver into the village or end destination. We need to work together and that does not mean we lose a competitive advantage for each organisation. It will be those businesses (transport, supply chain) that invest in this that will be here in years to come telling us they were at the leading edge...

If you are truly going to make a change that is both measurable and real then continuing to drive our emissions, impact & single use plastics is the right way. However, money always seems to win, even in the case of our ever dwindling resource (I.E. our planet) we need to stop corruption and lobbying and start making a difference. Only invest in CI if you can honestly say that you have a sustainable or making sustainable changes to your supply chain and transport services. It isn't good enough to simply offset your carbon use, it has to be smarter and deeper and moreover it needs to be a moral commitment to do something good.
