Working with international students, I've seen them thrive in environments where they feel safe, supported, and valued. I always encourge collaboration & group work which helps them to learn from & support each other. We need to empower our young people to embrace challenges, learn from failures, and persist in the face of obstacles. This will always help them develop a growth mindset and a passion for learning. By reinforcing the idea that mistakes are opportunities for growth and that hard work leads to progress, we can empower students to take risks, explore new concepts, and engage more deeply with their learning.

Working in a Qld Government High School, we are privileged to have access to Interactive whiteboards, educational apps, online resources etc to make learning more interactive, personalised, and engaging for students. Technology can also provide opportunities for students to explore topics independently, collaborate with their peers, and receive immediate feedback on their progress.
