When emotions run high from negative feedback, find your release—whether it's a walk on the beach, indulging in chocolate, speaking your mind, or, like me, venting in private with colorful language! Then, pour it all out onto paper and focus on the positive points that can fuel your growth.

You should actively listen and analyse, do not get in the defensive mode upfront else even constructive feedback won’t properly reach your ears. Listen carefully, digest, analyse and then react.

After you have made a plan and implemented the changes go back to the source who gave you the feedback. Thank then and tell them what you are doing differently based on their feedback. Few people do this and circling back shows you are open to feedback, serious about professional growth and that you care about building relationships.
