What do you do if project deadlines and priorities clash for software developers?

I consider the UX/UI first, how will this impact the User Experience and how can we shelf tasks that aren't as important to maximize the value to the customer while also keeping our team from being over-worked, having the employees in a good and healthy work environment is a priority when deadlines clash and tensions are high.

Pour les fois, où j'ai eu à faire face à ce type de situation, la clé était de pouvoir communiquer de fa?on transparente et en toute honnêteté. Se donner une priorité/prendre une décision sans toutefois mettre les autres parties prenantes au même niveau d'information va forcement créer un désagrément par la suite. Une analyse collective, clair et franche va permettre de mieux évaluer l'impact.

Après avoir évaluer et communiquer , la 2nd étape consiste à prioriser les taches restantes, sur une échelle de 1..10, avec l'aide de ses équipe les classer par ordre d'importance et de sensibilité. Dans un environnement SCRUM, il sera intéressant de faire intervenir le PO du projet, afin qu'il sache à quoi s'attendre dans les prochains jour et qu'il ait une idée estimative de la fin du projet.

Communication is the most important thing, when someone is a gear that does not turn, doesn't speak up or contribute to the load of our work; there is not much that we can do from a management perspective, how are we to fix a problem if we don't know it exists. I would rather be told bad news a week in advance as opposed to a day or two before deadline when there isn't much elbow grease I can throw at the problem.
