What do you do if you need to showcase your multitasking skills in an interview?

In my role, I was tasked with organizing an event while simultaneously managing several ongoing projects. Hence best way to convince your interviewer that you are an excellent multitasker is by providing concrete examples. Use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to structure your episode for maximum impact. This should be followed by explaining how you prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance. Multitasking can often be stressful, so it’s important to discuss how you manage and mitigate stress to support the fact that multitasking did not reduce the overall quality of work.

I remember multitasking in previous jobs and college. It's a difficult skill depending on the tasks involved, but it can save a company time and money. Tasks take less time to complete, resulting in little or no overtime and encouraging employees to move onto other tasks. Because of this, it also increases productivity because individuals complete more tasks throughout the day

I will recommend you to speak the most vivid memory that you have dealt with in your experience and that outcome was nice. Yes, there will be times that sometimes things don't turn out the way we want to but it always gives us perspective. Always follow the 4 D's of time management to understand which and what to prioritise first. Once you understand this then any task can be easily handled.

Working on too many things on the same day can be tiring and you might forget an important task. To avoid this situation I always use the to do list in the Outlook. When I start my day, I always have an agenda and jot in bullet points and as in when you keep completing your task you can strike it out. It always gives you a sense of achievement as you complete one by one task of the day, month or a year.

Some days can be stressful and there will be a time when you don't know what to do. This is where you start writing down your daily tasks. Now, you have a clear goal as to what to achieve, you can divide your time accordingly to meet your goals. I will also ensure that I take regular breaks so I don't burn out.
