What do you do if you need to make sense of complex data sets as an HR consultant?

1. i would understand the context first, i would break the larger context down into simpler aspects 2. invest time in business understanding, problem understanding 3. sit with the data. deploy right tools for its analysis. i might invest time in making project plans, sub sets of the problem statement we have on hand 4. for instance if i do not have the advanced excel or business intelligence skill, i would deploy a resource to make meaning 5. i would discuss this initial assumptions/perspectives with business stakeholders to seek their input, understand gaps, align buy in 6. i would begin work on the analysis, make a report, seek feedback, go in with recos/suggestions & be willing to adapt
