This syndrome points out to inadequate planning. While planning for a multidisciplinary project it is important to involve all the stake holders right from the beginning. This will help in identifying the bottlenecks and deciding on the solutions before hand. This will reduce clashes during Implementation phase. However, if project has landed in such a situation it's better to organize meeting of all the stakeholders (better late than never), identify the issues and agree upon remedial measures. In addition. Issues related to team friction and ego clashes need to be ironed out. A team must function as a team.

Compromise should be the last resort as it doesn't yield optimum results. But if project has landed in soup because of inadequate planning...team conflicts and ego clashes ..then talking to all the stakeholders and arriving at a majority acceptable and reasonable compromise could be a satisfactory measure.
