What do you do if automation and artificial intelligence are transforming the field of Employee Relations?

I have nothing. I think AI is for dummies. I believe in human intelligence. And if I were in Employee Relations again, I would be depending on me to create the proper intellectual content without the help of AI developers dumber than me.

La nuevas competencias aunque se hable de la IA siempre estara detras una persona que lo guiara , lo potenciara , lo certificara y por ultimo lo capacitara en los nuevos procesos laborales, debido a que la IA aun no maneja al 100% todo.

Es claro que el impacto de la tecnologia estará en actividades operativas o de gestión que no impliquen emocionalidades humanas. Así es que el llamado está en nuestra apertura al aprendizaje de nuevas herramientas con IA, y que aportemos ese tinte humanos a partir de nuestras habilidades personales, que generan ese gran diferencial en los resultados finales. Hoy mas que nunca es claro en las compa?ías, la necesidad de fortalecer nuestras habilidades y competencias digitales, para ser mas competentes con los procesos de transformación a los que estemos expuestos y la necesidad de adaptación a nuevos entornos laborales.

La supervisión humana va de la mano con los procesos de sensibilización y el departamento de personas es clave para definir los nuevos roles, nuevos descriptores de cargos, puestos y reinventar trabajos completos con la integración de la automatización ( ejemplo la logistica con sus centros de distribución) y la IA.

Efectivamente desde el inicio de este impacto tecnológico, uno de los mayores ruidos ha sido la perdida de empleos. Sin embargo, la realidad es que la IA abre nuevas oportunidades laborales que requieren que las Areas de Gestión Humana o Talento Humano, deban repensar la manera en que debe ir evolucionando los roles y funciones dentro de la compa?ía, de acuerdo a las metas y objetivos de los mismos así como de las metas de la compa?ía. El desarrollo de habilidades y competencias digitales debe llevar a los colaboradores a participar de forma mas activa en la creación de nuevos espacios, dejando solo para lo operativo las nuevas herramientas.

En mi experiencia en procesos de gestión de cambio, lo que aflora son las emociones de miedo por escenarios inciertos. Es por esto que la comunicación es una de las principales llaves para el logro de la consolidación de una estrategia de éxito en la adopción de nuevas tecnologías y el proceso de cambio cultural digital. la congruencia entre lo que se dice, lo que se hace y los resultados son el éxito de la cohesión organización. La improvisación es el rey del quiebre emocional, donde no es posible disminuir la falta de compromiso de los colaboradores. Por el contrario, la incertidumbre que genera la improvisación es la base del fracaso en la transformación.
