Once you solve the problem dry run the program step by step by taking some sample input and output. Next you should tell what is the time and space complexity. Never ever try to solve the problem in optimal approach. First solve it in Brute force approach. Interviewer only will ask to optimise it then you can come up with better approach and optimal approach.
