These skills could be divided into quantitative skills and qualitative skills Quantitative Skills: Review the incident statistics, frequency rates, and severity rates, and how to tackle them using corrective measures that can be quantified. Qualitative skills: Understand far beyond the quantitative risk to probe the behavioral reasons that have led to the evolvement of such risk. For example; inefficiently trained forklift operators versus load drop accidents.
