Por desgracia en general hay personal a quien le falta ética para el desarrollo de la justicia social que posteriormente sera aplicada al mundo laboral. Y en ciertos niveles y momentos se prima ser caníbal, por lo que más lejos queda esa justicia social...

Equality for all is desired by all but achieving it is a challenge. Promoting social justice in vocational education may prove unachievable right from getting opportunity to take up the skills training. Information may not be readily available for all prospective learners. Some may be discriminated against due to their gender, social class, or culture. For example, some societies prefer males for electrical and engineering skills. Governments may not distribute learning resources evenly, and thus disadvantaging learners. Learners may not be able to get internships in their preferred areas. On completion of training, not all artisans may get employment at the same time. These challenges call for policy makers to improve on social justice.

2 Stigma and stereotypes

Another challenge of promoting social justice in vocational education is to overcome the stigma and stereotypes that may affect the perception and value of certain careers and occupations. Vocational education has often been seen as inferior or less prestigious than academic education, or as a second choice for low-achieving or disadvantaged students. Some careers and occupations may also be associated with low status, low pay, low skill, or low quality, or may be gendered or racialized in negative ways. These stigma and stereotypes can discourage learners from pursuing their interests and potentials, or from recognizing the worth and dignity of their work. To counter these stigma and stereotypes, vocational education should raise awareness and appreciation of the diversity and importance of different careers and occupations, as well as the skills and competencies they require and develop.
